Not only have I severely neglected my little sanctuary/blog here, but I’m woefully behind on showing you all the pretty. Not only is this lovely engaged couple happily married as of June of last year. They are currently expecting what will surely be the cutest baby ever.

In February I got to celebrate Kristen’s and Derick’s Engagement. We shot around Kristen’s parent’s home and then took the boat out on Lake Maurepas. I know, don’t hate me. We did manage to get a few good images amongst the the good times. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in August! Congratulations guys...
In other news, I took a lighting class with Mark Eric and Brandon O’Neal at the fabulous Oak Alley earlier in the year. After the class work, we headed out with some models to practice what we learned. These are the results.
