On Keeping My Options Open

I finally bought myself the Crumpler Sinking Barge. I’ve wanted one for like forever, or about year now, which is forever in Erika years, but what ever. Here’s the thing. I thought I needed this pack for quick trips to carry my lap top, camera equipment and a few essentials. I even made sure I...

A new pair of shoes or a new bag – that’s all a girl needs. I can’t believe you waited a year! That IS forever in Tifani land, too. I admire your self control!

Day 4, I Got This

I’m just gonna be honest here, I am struggling right now. Not with my usual eating disorder, although it’s reared it’s ugly head enough. I wish it was my eating disorder. I at least I know how to write about it. How to process that. But this isn’t as easy. I don’t know what to...

So what about the tack Jared took with Solei the other day when she was going berserk? Have you tried throwing him fully clothed in a cold bath? That’s all I have lately. I think we all survived – I have plenty of friends from high school that made really dumb decisions that are more or less fully functioning members of society now. I think I’ll call my parents and thank them for not killing me between ages 18 through 24.

    Seriously.

    What the crap.

Sending you lots of good thoughts and prayers right now.

    You’ll get through this.

    So will Jacob.

Ugh–this is like the central parenting dilemma and one that only gets worse as they get older. You have not only my sympathy AND my empathy (my boys are 21, 19 & 18 at the moment so I’m right there with you), but my wholehearted agreement that there is no right answer.

Things You Should Know, Part 362

I am currently sitting in my own filth with a head cold. This happens more often than I care to admit. I have an unhealthy obsession with Tupperware. Feel free to buy me some. I’m currently not out shopping because I spent all our money and see #1. Yes, spending all our money is not...

Wow! What an awesome picture! Who was your photographer!

I am a better person for reading this post about you and the stuff I need to know.

Just thinking… did you ever return MY tupperware?!

Love the costume. I have an unhealthy obsession with jackets and red shirts lately. Feel free to buy me some.

You might end up filing that whole throw panties at me thing under “be careful what you wish for.”

Arrrggghhhhh!

Word press ate my freaking post. I’ve heard others complain of this phenomenon, but in 5 years of blogging, it’s never happened to me. I am pissed. I’m off to ballet, but I will try to recreate later. Honestly though, how how can I recreate the spontaneity that is my genius? I can’t. Sniff, sniff....
