I Know Pretty People

*I was going to post these tomorrow, so as not to double post, but I just can’t wait. We make this look good.* Saturday, we headed out to the State Capitol for a family photo shoot. Our photographer took some fantastic pictures. Becky treated me to a sneak preview, and now you get to see...

You found her when she did that post and had pictures taken that fast? Or you found her by randomly clicking on Lexi’s blog list? Either way…great pictures. As I stated on facebook, I am jealous.

No, Lexi has button for her on her blog. I was checking out several photogs in the area. I checked out her work, we emailed back and forth, then set up the shoot. We’ve been arranging this since March, before the ski trip. It just took me that long to get it together. (Me not her.)

Yeah, I’ll take credit for them. All of them.

Falling In Love Again

I am so completely and positively in love with the new look of this blog it has caused me to start posting again. So enthusiastically in lust with my new masthead am I, that I’m hanging out here all the time. Hey, it’s has the lovely by product of giving me some actual stats, even...

I agree, my blog is mine, too, and I think I am going to kick BlogHer to the curb. I mean, you can’t really tell me I can’t do a giveaway if I want…I LIKE getting free stuff that I wanted anyways to review from time to time.
I ? that masthead. Seriously cutest butts ever 🙂

Back From Break

Now, doesn’t that feel better? All rested up? See I told you a break would feel good. And a rest was important because we have a lot coming up here at DRY Ink. It is probably time for a state of the family address around here, it’s been over a year. Yeah I’m a slacker....

Well, I’m glad you’re alive. Life is definitely never dull. But, Erika, you are my hero. The end. (Do I have to sing our song to remind you?)

What movie did you see? Isn’t biting off more than you can technically chew–and then successfully chewing it–so very entertaining?

  • ErikaMarch 6, 2009 - 8:56 am

    Rae, thanks, no song necessary.
MM, I saw International. It was meh. As for the last part, I’ll reserve judgment til I actually chew things successfully.

Watch Out He’s Legal Now

Jacob, There are times when a birthday letter just doesn’t seem like enough, so here’s a little something I put together for you. I love you buddy, and I’m so glad we are where we are. You are standing on the verge of your whole life, with brains in your head and feet in your...

Happy birthday from me too. Good luck!

  • RachelFebruary 2, 2009 - 3:51 pm

Happy birthday to Jacob! (Erika I’m sorry I’m such a slacker on the song. You should just kick me to the curb right now.)

  • Not Her Again!February 3, 2009 - 3:32 pm

Oh man. I’m still imagining ‘little Jacob’. It didn’t seem that long ago! It’s hard to believe that that ruggedly handsome guy with facial hair and muscles is the same kid that would ask to go to the park seemingly almost yesterday with his friends. Happy Birthday Jacob! Have fun in the world out there but don’t forget to call your Mom- she loves ya!

Truth in Blogging

While I’m all bragging about I made this. I need to admit, I made this too. I probably owe you an apology for that last one. Sorry.

That’s my son in about 5 years. Sigh.

Congratulations? Um… so disturbed, but I don’t know the back story. Although that might actually complicate things…

  • ErikaMay 22, 2008 - 12:33 pm

Yeah Reva, the back story would only make things worse.

    Dear BFB…
I can’t tell you how wonderful that picture is… but can I please have something else to look at? I’m not picky. Dog poo is okay.
