This week I finally got Jax out to play. I had planned this concept shoot for Valentine’s Day. I originally was going to play with wooden letter blocks and a pink tie, but I think this way worked out just as well.
Not you right? (Tell me I’m right.) Early in January I took the cherubs out to play in the back yard with my best friend. Now you get to look at the results.
I’m in love with these. ?Love? I tell you!
Emme and I take dance from a pretty laid back studio, so it’s really rare she wears full traditional ballet clothes. Of course I couldn’t resist snapping a few. Be still my heart. I think she just snatched favorite cherub status from her brothers. After I took these, Em hugged me and told me she...
Oh, I love that you love her that much, too…but I agree, pictures are for mamas to remember our babies as they grow and grow and grow.
And the pictures are lovely.
I even managed to get a few of my clan And, yes, even this one: I am so proud!

Hey–I just realized I missed a word in that comment I made almost a month ago–not to say it would have made a lot more sense, but it should’ve said “Please tell me envy doesn’t make my butt look big.” I was about to use a similar line somewhere else on the Internet (cuz Masked Mom is all about creative laziness, er, recycling–) and wanted to double check what I had put here so I didn’t duplicate it exactly (how that could possibly matter, I’m not sure) and, well, obviously realized that I left out the key word.
Please tell me the HUMILIATION doesn’t make my butt look big.
That’s not humiliation MM, that’s dedication! And it doesn’t make your butt look big. In fact it’s very slimming. (At least that’s what I tell myself. Don’t correct me if I’m wrong.)
Your kids are so photogenic. What an awesome photoshoot. Love the tie!
Hahaha Jack! Doing things in his own time. I wonder where he got that from? Weird. Love the shots, the tie, and the whole thing.
