Hi! This is a picture of me. I love to take pictures.
I especially love taking pictures of kids. They always make me look good. After all, how do you make a kid look bad? You don’t, they are just pretty people. They are always entertaining and go home with someone else. You can’t beat that. But seriously, I am so honored when someone chooses me to capture their life with photography. If you’re in south Louisiana or the greater Houston area, think about having me and my best friend out to play sometime.
But enough about me, let’s talk about me.
My name is Erika Rebstock, and I’m a photographer and LPC currently residing outside of Atlanta, but regularly traveling between Atlanta, New Orleans and Houston. When I am not doing that, I work for DRY Inc Family. (D R & Y are the first initials of our last names.) The pay around here sucks, but at least I don’t have to wear pants. In fact, the pay tends to get better when I don’t. Who knew?
DRY Inc was formed in the late nineties and officially incorporated in 1999, when I married Jeff, the greatest guy on the planet. DRY Inc was added to in 2001 and again in 2002, and yes we did have cable, thanks for asking. DRY Inc now consists of Jeff and I and the subsidiary cherub group, which is run by the three cherubs, (I brought one to the company from a previous marriage.)
When it came time to name the photography business, DRY Ink was the natural choice.
5 Fun Facts
I change my hair color more often than my sheets
I ride a motorcycle
I have 2 different color eyes
I love interior design
I love photography because I get to be creative and technical all in one field
I like to hang out around here. I change things up a lot, because I have ADHD and get bored easily, (I’m working on that.) When I’m not here, I’m saving the company from a cherub group take over, remolding headquarters, taking pictures, chugging Diet Dr. Pepper, or seeing a client or two.

You have a great sense of humor and sound like you love what you do. Where is Dry Ink located? I’m new to Baton Rouge, love taking pictures and want to change my career from teaching to working with photography. Is there any chance of a prospective job opening at Dry Ink? I’m good at taking pictures and have a good sense of what to photograph but not many lessons other than teaching myself. All I’ve done in 19 years is teach and I would love to try something new. I’m willing to do any job while learning if you guys hire without experience. Thank you for your time. Danielle Sharpe 225-439-0831
