A 30 Second Snap Shot of My Life

So I had the two stumps ground in the front yard today. A guy came a calling and offered to do it for $100, (previous offers had been in the 300 range), so I rolled with it. It made quite the mess, that I left. And went to work. Because I can.

When I got home I decided that I should take the wood chips and spread then into the flower beds. While I was doing this, Em decided to ‘help’ (read: put wood chips into a toy dump truck and dump randomly). Well I got tired of all that after about two seconds and headed inside to answer the phone. It was my mother. Who was supposed to be here in thirty minutes to take the cherubs to a movie. Instead she decided to leave her lights on all day. Downtown. And tell me about it. At five o’clock traffic time. (Did I mention this is the other end of town during rush hour?) While she was passive aggressively guilting me into fixing her problem, my sister in law beeped in to tell me that her 24 hour old baby is unable to keep his body warm or eat and has an elevated white blood count and has to stay in the hospital. During this conversation, I went out to the front to check on Em, and found a dog crapping in my front yard. Then my cell phone started ringing, and Em ask me if this is the type of chore that she could get paid for.

The end.

is your SIL baby going to be okay? i just assumed her unupdated blog was due to a newborn, not complications.

Hopefully. The last word I have is that if the drugs he’s getting keep working, he should be able to come home on Monday. I feel bad, that was kinda her news to tell, it just hit me all at once. And I have a big mouth. Sorry Lori.

Jessica, I’m positive they are reason he is doing so well right now. Tell them to keep praying, his life is in their hands. No pressure though.
