It’s four pm and I have to be at work shortly, but I wanted to let you know that I saw Ninja Assassins today.
It was excellent. Like a great action cake, baked to perfection, iced with a very thin plot to add just a hint of sweetness and hold the layers of action-y goodness together. Yum.
I highly recommend it.
After the movie and walked over to Walgreen’s to pick up some goodies for the cherubs 25 days of Christmas. The cherubs absolutely love this tradition. I didn’t do it last year and boy did I hear about it. (They had to have a big ole helping of get over it. I didn’t manage to get Christmas cards out either.) I was excited to have the calendar box sitting on the bookshelf when they came home from school. I loved seeing their faces when they realized there was a surprise waiting for them. Nothing big, just soft peppermints balls, but they loved it.
I think that far to often when we are looking to perform random acts of kinds, we forget those love ones at home. The people who support us and allow us to go out in the world and do good.
Now as much as I love the cherubs, I’m going to have to kill them if they don’t pack up soon so I can get to work on time.
